Most, if not all, people think the European Union is undemocratic and not transparent. That has to change. If we want to keep enjoying the benefits of Europe then it’s time for a major reform of the EU. Only a new and more democratic European treaty can achieve that.

establish that:
That European decision-making processes can and should become more democratic and transparent.
That Article 48 of the latest treaty (Treaty of Lisbon) makes it possible for the EU member states to convene in order to establish a new European treaty.
and request
The cabinet to gather the other member states for a European Convention as to democratically establish a new European treaty with one goal:more democracy andtransparency.
